Product-specific notice: 2K VPN
Scope and operator
2K VPN is operated by Kryat. For this policy, Kryat means Kryat, Inc. and related entities that support the service, including Kryat Ltd in Vietnam and Kebsoft in Australia. Kryat is responsible for operating 2K VPN and handling privacy requests for the app.
2K VPN provides VPN and secure network routing features on supported platforms. We do not use platform-specific wording here because the same privacy commitments apply to every supported version of the app.
What 2K VPN collects
- Account data: user ID, email address, display name, profile image, sign-in provider details, and account support details if you create an account or contact us.
- VPN operational data: selected server or region, requested country code and country name, WireGuard public key, assigned VPN IP address, source IP address presented to our backend or gateway, session start, end, expiry, and status, transfer usage, free or premium limit state, connection health, backend logs, and security or abuse-prevention signals.
- App and device data: installation ID, platform, operating system, app version, device model or name if transmitted by the app or device, crash reports, diagnostics, and performance data.
- Billing data: subscription entitlement, product identifier, store, environment, renewal or expiry status, transaction or billing event IDs, and subscription support data needed to verify purchases and restore access.
- Ads and analytics data: only if enabled in the app version you use. Advertising networks such as Google AdMob may process ad identifiers, consent status, impressions, interactions, measurement, and fraud-prevention signals. Consent management tools such as Google UMP may process consent choices. App analytics or crash diagnostics providers, if enabled, may process app events, crash data, and app or device diagnostics. These providers do not receive VPN session data from us.
What 2K VPN does not collect or use for ads
2K VPN is not designed to inspect, log, store, sell, or monetize VPN traffic content, browsing history, DNS query content, or the apps and websites you access through the VPN. We do not use VPN operational data for advertising, analytics, user profiling, or data brokerage.
Advertising and analytics SDKs do not receive VPN traffic content, browsing activity, DNS query content, selected VPN server, WireGuard public key, assigned VPN IP address, VPN session timestamps, transfer usage, or VPN backend identifiers from us.
How 2K VPN uses data
We use 2K VPN data to create and maintain VPN sessions, assign peer configuration, route traffic through the selected region, enforce free, premium, and session limits, restore entitlements, prevent abuse, maintain security, provide support, troubleshoot reliability issues, comply with law, and respond to legal process.
Service providers and third parties
We do not sell, rent, or disclose 2K VPN data to advertisers, analytics providers, data brokers, or other third parties for advertising, analytics, profiling, resale, or their own independent purposes.
Infrastructure and hosting providers may process limited VPN operational data only as our service providers and only to host gateways, route connections, operate backend infrastructure, maintain security, prevent abuse, monitor reliability, and provide support. App stores and subscription providers may process account, store, and billing data only to verify purchases, manage entitlements, restore access, and support subscriptions. Consent, advertising, analytics, and crash providers, if enabled, process only non-VPN app, ad, consent, analytics, or diagnostic data and do not receive VPN session data from us.
Retention, deletion, and consent
We retain 2K VPN information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including active VPN sessions, subscription records, security, fraud prevention, support, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. You can request deletion or ask privacy questions by emailing hi@kryat.com. You can also revoke app permissions or advertising and analytics consent through in-app controls where available and through iOS device settings.
1. Information we may collect
We may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, username, profile details, messages, support requests, account credentials, preferences, or any other information you choose to submit.
We may collect technical, device, and app information such as IP address, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, operating system, browser type, app version, language, approximate location derived from IP, crash information, diagnostics, performance data, and backend log data.
We may collect usage information, including interactions with websites, apps, games, online features, content, menus, settings, gameplay systems, session activity, progression, feature usage, and similar activity needed to operate and improve the Services.
If a Service includes account systems, social features, leaderboards, cloud saves, multiplayer, customer support, community features, or user-generated content, we may collect the information necessary to provide and moderate those features.
If a Service includes VPN or network-routing functionality, we may collect operational metadata such as selected server or region, VPN public keys, assigned VPN IP addresses, connection timestamps, session status, transfer usage, connection health, device and network diagnostics, security and abuse signals, and session-limit state needed to run, protect, troubleshoot, and support that feature and its supporting backend infrastructure.
If a Service includes advertising or consent flows, we and our partners may collect advertising, measurement, attribution, and consent information, including consent status, advertising identifiers, impression or interaction data, and similar information used for ad delivery, reporting, fraud prevention, and compliance.
If a Service includes purchases, subscriptions, or premium access, we may collect product identifiers, transaction identifiers, subscription status, entitlement data, billing support information, and store or payment information made available to us by the relevant platform or provider.
2. How we may use information
We may use information to provide, maintain, improve, personalize, secure, and support the Services. This may include operating gameplay systems, account features, subscriptions, purchases, online functionality, customer support, analytics, diagnostics, moderation, abuse prevention, and infrastructure.
We may also use information to communicate with you, respond to requests, measure performance, show ads, manage consent preferences, enforce our terms, comply with legal obligations, investigate misuse, and protect users, our Services, and our business.
For VPN Services, we may use information to create and maintain VPN sessions, assign peer configuration, enforce free, premium, and session limits, restore entitlements, prevent abuse, provide support, maintain security, and comply with law.
3. Ads, consent, and privacy options
Some Services may display ads, including ads served through Google AdMob or other advertising networks. Those providers and their partners may collect and process advertising identifiers, consent status, impressions, interactions, measurement, attribution, and fraud-prevention signals under their own terms and policies.
Where required, we may use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) or similar tools to request consent, record your choices, and provide privacy options. Your choices may affect whether personalized ads or certain data uses are enabled.
Depending on the Service, privacy controls may also be available through the app, game, website, account settings, device settings, or third-party provider controls. Available controls may vary by product, region, platform, and version.
4. Subscriptions, purchases, and account handling
Some Services may offer subscriptions, premium tiers, downloadable content, virtual items, in-app purchases, or other paid features. Purchases may be processed through app stores, payment processors, or other commerce partners.
We may receive and use information needed to validate purchases, manage entitlements, restore access, provide support, keep financial or tax records, detect fraud, and comply with legal and contractual obligations.
We may use RevenueCat or similar providers to help manage subscriptions, transaction events, product access, and support workflows. Those providers may process identifiers and purchase-related data for those purposes.
5. VPN and network services
Some Services may include VPN, proxy, relay, or other secure network-routing features on supported platforms. Those features may use platform VPN or network extension frameworks to create and manage a secure connection on your device.
If those features are available, we may process device, session, connection, backend, network, diagnostic, and security-related information needed to establish connections, maintain reliability, detect abuse, troubleshoot issues, enforce limits, comply with law, and operate the related infrastructure.
VPN and secure network-routing products may have stricter privacy commitments than our general Services. When this policy includes a product-specific VPN notice, that product notice explains the additional limits that apply to that product.
Hosting providers, backend operators, security partners, and similar service providers that help us run VPN features may process limited account, billing, app, VPN operational, and infrastructure data only as needed to host and operate the feature, route connections, verify subscriptions, maintain security, prevent abuse, monitor reliability, and provide support.
6. How information may be shared
We may share information with vendors and service providers that help us build, operate, host, analyze, secure, support, monetize, or improve the Services. This can include hosting providers, infrastructure vendors, analytics services, ad partners, consent management providers, customer support tools, moderation tools, payment processors, app stores, and subscription infrastructure providers.
Where applicable, this may include sharing limited information with advertising networks such as Google AdMob for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention, consent management tools such as Google UMP for consent choices, app stores and subscription infrastructure providers such as RevenueCat for subscription and purchase handling, and infrastructure providers for hosting, security, and service reliability.
Product-specific notices may place additional limits on how information for a particular product is shared.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to legal process, to protect rights and safety, to investigate misuse, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
7. Retention and security
We may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain user accounts and records, operate subscriptions and purchases, support gameplay or online features, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our agreements.
For VPN Services, session, entitlement, security, support, and operational records are retained only as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, maintain active sessions, verify subscriptions, prevent abuse, comply with law, and resolve disputes.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of storage, transmission, or processing is completely secure.
8. Your rights, deletion, and contact
Depending on your location and the Service you use, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. You may also be able to manage permissions, ad settings, privacy options, or account settings through the relevant Service or your device.
To request deletion of personal information, request account deletion, ask a privacy question, or submit another privacy-related request, contact hi@kryat.com and include enough detail for us to identify the relevant product and your request. We may ask for additional information to verify the request before taking action.
Where a Service offers consent choices, you can withdraw or change consent through the app, device settings, or provider controls where available. On iOS, you may also manage app permissions and tracking choices in iOS settings.
